Geli's path hasn't been the conventional one, but it has always circled the same things. A Bachelor of Science in Psychology and experience in human resources taught her to empathize with people, so they feel heard and seen. Her training helps her meet people where they are and turn what they're feeling into words and images that feel human. More than a decade in art and design taught her how to make people feel something, a craft she committed to with an intensive graphic design course in New York. And her own story as a Filipina immigrant taught her why it matters. Years of travel have widened how she sees the world and deepened how she connects with the people in it. She has worked with household names, beauty labels, published books, and international publications, but it's the small businesses and community platforms, like Humans of Doyenne, She Talks Asia, and others like them, where she feels most at home, because that's where the work gets personal.

Away from the work, Geli keeps her life offline: spending time with loved ones, practicing traditional art like calligraphy, listening to good music, diving into art books, and doing anything that feeds her creative energy.
